Encompassing an expansive 25-acre land atop a hillock, this village offers a useful window into the dwelling background and lifestyles of the tribal people. With its core mission not only aimed at preserving, but also enriching the livelihood options of those indigenous communities.

The village is thoughtfully managed and overseen through the very tribes that inhabit it, a symbiotic courting that nurtures both cultural exchange and financial empowerment. Intriguingly, En Ooru has thoughtfully integrated areas that cater to the diverse interests of visitors. Among its charms are the welcoming cafeterias, doling out actual ethnic cuisine that provide an immersive flavor of tribal delicacies. 

Meandering through the village, one encounters a colorful tribal marketplace where stalls brim with souvenirs, fragrant spices, and amazing handicrafts, all masterfully created by using the skilled hands of tribal artisans. A committed warehouse serves as a repository for those remarkable handicrafts, contributing to their renovation and dissemination. An amazing felicitation center and an open-air theater, boasting seating potential for as much as 300 spectators, grace the landscape, serving as structures for cultural exchanges and inventive performances. 

One of the village’s achievements lies within the establishment of a steadfast market, offering a consistent road for tribespeople to showcase and sell their agricultural produce. Additionally, the creative skills of tribal artists flourish on this platform, fostering a sustainable source of income and recognition.

Its commitment to schooling shines via its active position in training programmes, making sure the perpetuation of traditional knowledge for generations to come. Remarkably, En Ooru has been a catalyst for generating both direct and oblique employment opportunities.
